A career that is able to fulfill your deepest potential and utilize your talents and abilities well? Sounds like a dream for most people, but that's only because they don't realize that the choice is in their hands to pick a job that best matches their abilities and interest.

As this lesson is part of the Basic Analysis Techniques series, Joey takes you through the fundamentals of analyzing a person's BaZi chart for career satisfaction and progress.

When we study a person's BaZi chart and discover that he or she is pursuing a career that is most suited to them, Joey explains that there are two results that we are most likely to see: a career path that will enable that person to make the most money, or a career path that will enable that person to experience the most joy and fulfillment.

Joey then goes into an overview of the five elements and the career industries related to each specific one. The five elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, and Joey explicates on the specific traits of each element that correspond to its respective industries. The brief intro should give people an idea of identifying a career that corresponds to their chart's most favourable element.

Two BaZi charts are then analyzed in detail; one of a bestselling popular novelist, and the other a highly successful restaurant franchise business owner. The charts enable one to understand and realize the implications of Favourable Elements and Day Masters and their roles in enabling one to have a successful and fulfilling career.

The lesson wraps up with Joey setting his students two tasks: go over the previous two examples again as a recap, and to also study the charts of three different people that they know to see if those people are in their most suitable careers. If not, what is the best advice to offer them?

Determine their favourable elements and identify industries corresponding to those elements
Establish the most favourable element in a BaZi chart
Learn to identify their most suitable career industries after assessing their favourable elements in relation to their Day Master
