How to Read your BaZi Chart - Introduction

It is important for you to be reasonably well versed with the Fundamentals, the Relationships between the Stems and Branches, the Concept of the Yin and Yang, the Luck Cycle and the pictorially approach to begin the first steps of reading a BaZi Chart.

In this lesson, Joey Yap will show you the steps and techniques to break down the components of a BaZi Chart: Pillars, Palaces and Stars. Each Pillar represents different aspects of your Life, from your external characteristic to your inner most thoughts. Inside each Pillar are the Palaces or Houses, which governs a relationship with a particular subject or person. Grandparents, parents, spouse, children and superiors: Which Palace governs your relationship with them? But to absolutely apprehend the relationship and influence of your life, you have to look closely at the Stars which are situated at the bottom of the Stars.

Counter, Combination, Clash, Destruction, Harm and Punishment: Are the interactions you need to look into when reading a BaZi Chart. At the end of this lesson, you will be well-informed of the various interactions and analogies to begin your first steps of reading a BaZi Chart.
