The Five Factors are the Stars located within the Palaces of Influence and they provide the details to a BaZi we are reading. These stars are the elements that will bring out certain attributes in a chart.

Before moving onward with this lesson, recap on the notes and materials from the lessons on the Heavenly Stem relationships, the more significant Earthly Branch relationships and last but not least the lessons on the Palaces of Influence.

The 5 major groups of Stars of the Five Factors are:

• Wealth Star
• Influence Star
• Resource Star
• Output Star
• Friend Star

Each element of these is different depending on the Daymaster. What are basic meanings of these Stars? What do they represent? Which will be the favorable or unfavorable Stars to have a BaZi Chart? Which Stars governs wealth and nobility?

With an example BaZi chart, Joey will bring out the attributes and the representation of the Stars in the BaZi Chart. Throughout this lesson, you must always keep in mind the 5 Elements and the Five Element Cycles. If you can’t remember them, do look through your notes again. At the end of the lesson, do the same identification process with your own BaZi chart and with the charts of your friend’s.

For a more complete understanding of the Five Factors and its attributes, each of the Stars will be closely examined in the new few lessons.

• Identify the elements of each Star in a BaZi chart
• Establish the representations of these Stars based on the BaZi chart
• Complete understanding of the effects of the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch relationship with the Five Factors
