Item Description
fiogf49gjkf0d Joey begins this lesson by giving a general overview of the mouth, its qualities, and its traits. The mouth is an especially expressive feature, even when removed from the technical context of Face Reading. Consider how we regularly interpret or 'read' faces - we can tell from the mouth if someone is unhappy, sad, or angry. Therefore, it is a feature that yields tremendously rich information.
After explaining which of the Five Elements the mouth corresponds to, Joey proceeds to tell us why it's important that the mouth has clearly-defined borders. The shape of a mouth also signifies the presence of a certain element. In addition, the shape of the mouth conveys information if a person is somewhat emotional or not.
In evaluating the mouth, the teeth and lips also play a fundamental role. For example, what does it mean to have teeth that protrude? Or how about having sharp and pointy teeth? Lip thickness is also a potent form of character evaluation, as besides regular thick or thin lips, there is also a significant difference between thicker upper lips or broader lower lips.
The mouth is a neverending display of traits and characteristics, as even lines on or around the mouth can be a source of information - for example, it can convey information if a man might be successful in his dealings with others, of if a woman could enjoy a good marriage with a peaceful relationship with her husband.
And for every time an elderly person has told you "stop looking so sour and smile!" there is some wisdom in that, as there is a vast world of difference in character between a person with a naturally upward-curving mouth, and someone with a down-turned mouth!
The power of the art of Face Reading becomes evident in practice, so Joey reminds his students to practice all their newly-acquired skills by attempting to observe and evaluate their own mouth (and the mouths of others, where possible!).
