Item Description
fiogf49gjkf0d Joey begins this lesson on the Wood Shape Face by introducing how the concept of Five Elements works in the study of Physiognomy, and how it connects to Face Reading in particular. The key aspect lies in figuring out which is the predominant element in one's face, and Joey explains how you are able to do this in just two simple steps. Each element will display its Yin and Yang ramifications in either a favourable or unfavourable manner.
The lesson then goes into the definition of a Wood Shape Face. Joey outlines the main shape that is associated with this element, and details the attributes we would typically expect to see with this type of face. In this part of the lesson, we are told about the type of features we expect or like to see with face, and features we would rather not see.
Joey goes on to explain how a Wood Shape Face that is attached to a less than ideal body indicates negative character traits, and goes on to list some examples.
This is because some of these features can also help develop a face, while bad ones can actually stunt it and cause negative consequences.
To get the best out of this lesson, Joey explains why it's important to know how the Five Elements work, and also why it pays to have knowledge on the Productive, Controlling, and Weakening cycles. For easier revision, he explains what each of the cycle means so that the knowledge is fresh on the minds of students.
Next, Joey also describes the specific traits of Wood Shape Faces, and why it's described as the face of a 'Thinker.' He explains what job types or careers are usually suited to, or best use, the talents of people who have Wood Shape Faces.
The lesson ends with a short recap on the Five Elements, and how these elements work in the study of Chinese Metaphysics. This will prove useful as a refresher before students pursue the next Shape, the Fire Shape Face.
