Item Description
fiogf49gjkf0d This is one of the important lessons in the Mian Xiang course, as the 100 Year Map refers to points on the face that correspond to every year of a person's life. Each point on the face represents the luck for that particular year or age, as well as denoting other aspects or traits.
Joey explains why the 100 Year Map slightly differs for males and females, as the numbers begin on the right side of the face for females, while it starts on the left of the face where males are concerned. Joey also tells students to make note the way in which the 'Chinese age' is derived, as the final number will be slightly different from one's 'regular age.'
Then, he launches into a comprehensive description of the various points of the face:
- Ear Luck
- Forehead Luck
- Eyebrow Luck
- Eye Luck
- Nose Luck
- Mouth Luck
- Chin Luck
Each point also corresponds to certain years of a person's life. As such, being able to evaluate the 100 Year Map can yield rich information about what one can expect at a particular stage in one's life.
The lesson draws to a close with an emphasis on the 12 Animal Signs, which correspond to the later years of one's life. All of these are closely explained with relevant diagrams and visuals to help the student better understand the concepts concerned. Joey also recommends that students continue to practice charting the 100 Year Map on their own faces, as the best kind of learning comes from being able to do as they learn.
