The lesson on the 12 Palaces begins with Joey emphasizing the importance of the concept of 12 Palaces in the study and practice of Face Reading in general. He starts off with the Life Palace, which is the most important Palace, and demonstrates where it's located on the face while outlining all the ways in which one is able to evaluate if the Life Palace possesses good or bad qualities.

The other palaces, including the Career Palace, Children Palace, the Fortune and Virtue Palace, and the rest are likewise explored in similar close detail. For each Palace, Joey shows students where to locate it on the face, and what qualities to look out for in order to determine if a particular Palace is good or bad.

Joey also emphasises on the reasons a person might want to look at a particular Palace at any given time, and how you can derive information about a certain aspect of your life at any point by evaluating the qualities of these 12 Palaces. The lesson ends with a reminder for students to evaluate the 12 Palaces on their own face, or the faces of others, for practice.
