Item Description
Description:
The Eight Trigrams of Qian, Kun, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Li, Gen and Dui are discoursed in great detail here, with special reference being made to key attributes, phenomena and outcomes that relate to their specific Gua (Trigram). It is, however, not enough for students to merely know and memorize the Trigrams and their individual attributes; students must also know HOW and WHEN each Trigram plays its role in Feng Shui theory and application.
Hence, let Joey share with you the respective roles of the Eight Trigrams, and why they are so indispensable in the practice of Classical Feng Shui. As a pre-cursor, the Eight Trigrams even allow for `predictive’ Feng Shui, in foretelling WHAT and WHO (in particular) will be affected; applied in the context of Feng Shui at a more advanced level.
Objectives:
At the end of this Lesson, students will be able to:
- Identify, understand and relate to the role played by each of the Eight Trigrams in Feng Shui theory and application
- Differentiate between the attributes of one Trigram from another
- Relate and apply the Trigrams to Feng Shui scenarios and situations – at least on paper, for the time being
