The Luo Shu constitutes the base from which Feng Shui formulas are derived. Luo Shu numbers are said to represent the ever-changing dynamics of Qi, and therefore numerically depict the flow of Qi in our living environment over different period in time.
In this Lesson, Joey introduces you to the essential concept of the Luo Shu and the key attributes to using the Luo Shu in your study and application of Classical Feng Shui. You will learn about the Luo Shu Path and how the Luo Shu numbers relate to the Five Elements. The basic application of the Luo Shu concepts in Classical Feng Shui will also be covered in this Lesson.
The He Tu - commonly referred to as the River Map - is also another base model, from which Feng Shui formulas are derived. This will be explored in this Lesson and students will learn how it relates to the Five Elements, as Joey explains this concept is a step-by-step manner. Students will be required to have a good grasp of the Luo Shu and He Tu, as they progress into their studies of Eight Mansions Feng Shui and Flying Stars Feng Shui, later.
