fiogf49gjkf0d Description:
Joey begins this Lesson, by introducing students to the concept of Location and Direction vis-Ã -vis Classical Feng Shui, and the roles played by these factors in facilitating measurements and analyses. Special emphasis is placed on ascertaining the Location and Direction of the Main Door, since it acts as the primary Qi entrance to a property.
He then moves on to share two techniques, namely the Nine Palaces Grid and Eight Pie Chart, with students in enabling them to capably assess the interior as well as exterior features and layout of a property. Feng Shui after all is an `outside in’ study, where external forms must first be qualified before we can tap into the Qi from outside and channel it for useful purposes within a building. Students will therefore consolidate their understanding of WHY Forms precede Formulas in Classical Feng Shui, and HOW the factors of Location and Direction come into play here.
Objectives:
At the end of this Lesson, students will be able to:
- Differentiate between Location and Direction, and their respective roles and importance
- Ascertain the Location and Direction of a property’s Main Door
- Apply the Nine Palaces Grid and Eight Pie Chart to gauge the interior and exterior features of a property, respectively
- Understand WHY Location and Direction are so relevant in Feng Shui, and WHY one factor should never be misconstrued for the other – and vice versa
