Item Description
fiogf49gjkf0d Description:
As its name implies, there are Eight Trigrams (Ba Gua), with each Trigram consisting of three lines stacked horizontally on top of one another. A Trigram could mean a million things, and represent a magnitude of events – from the most gargantuan to the most infinitesimal.
This Lesson commences with Joey introducing students to the Eight Trigrams, and how they were derived in the first place. Joey then proceeds to show the interplay between the Trigrams and the Yin and Yang Concept, as well as illustrate how the Four Images of Yin and Yang are subsequently derived.
In addition, students will learn about each and every Trigram in detail, its connotations and its implications, as well as the more common things it represents (in the context of real-life situations, of course). However, it would be wiser and advisable for students to first UNDERSTAND the significance of the Trigrams, before even attempting to memorize every detail associated with each of the Eight Trigrams. Ultimately, the objective of this Lesson is to demonstrate to students how the Eight Trigrams come into play, in the context of Classical Feng Shui, as they will be extensively referred to and used at a later stage of study.
Objectives:
At the end of this Lesson, students will be able to:
- Identify and understand the formation of the Eight Trigrams

- Relate to each of the Eight Trigrams and their respective connotations and associations
