Module

You're already a pro in your own right Now advance your knowledge to unprecedented levels!
The great French military strategist and leader, Napoleon Bonaparte, once said: "Great men (and now, women too of course!) grow tired of contentedness."
By completing Module 2 of our Feng Shui Mastery Series, you now possess a level of knowledge of the subject that even precludes those of some experienced practitioners. You also know that there's more to Xuan Kong than Flying Stars - and are able to confidently rectify the misconception that Flying Stars are the 'be-all-and-end-all' of Xuan Kong. Your mastery of both the San Yuan and San He Schools of Feng Shui already qualifies you to apply your skills professionally.
Without vanity or exaggeration, you have indeed come into your own as a Feng Shui practitioner; and never mind the certificates you've amassed along the way.
But then again, Bonaparte did echo this particular sentiment as well: "Ability is of little account without opportunity." And if you reflect carefully upon this statement, wouldn't you be inclined to agree with him?
Knowledge is power. You've come this far. And having successfully undergone Modules 1 and 2, make nomistake...you're good at what you know - and do. But this is where you need to ask yourself:
Am I truly satisfied with what I already know?
What could - and would - I do, if only I knew more?
Only you - and you alone - determine the answers to these questions. And with them, how high you'll soar as a Feng Shui practitioner in particular, and in life in general.
Welcome to Module 3.

Where the sky's the limit
By now, you've already learnt that there are two forms of classical Feng Shui that are widely practiced today: San He and San Yuan. The San He form is the older of the two, and focuses on environmental features such as mountains, terrains and water.Accordingly, sophisticated formulas are devised to identify and tap into the Qi emanating from these naturally recurring landforms. Its counterpart, the San Yuan form, draws upon the mathematics and numerical logic of the Yi Jing - one of the oldest Chinese texts, known as the 'Book of Change'.
Now, both forms are equally potent and applicable to different situations. Of course, San He is useful for evaluating the physiognomy of landforms, while San Yuan emphasizes the aspect of Time, in determining how Qi affects us.What you should by asking at this juncture though is: How do I augment and elevate my command of both these forms to a completely higher plane?
Before we answer this question, let us ask you in return: What could you possibly do and achieve, if you only knew techniques or precepts such as the Tan Lang Nine Stars, Earth Penetrating 60 Dragons, Human Plate Middle Needle and Five Ghosts Carry Treasure (never mind their cryptic names)?
And so, the answer's simple...Module 3 educates you with even more sophisticated techniques - derived from the classics - and allows you to fuse knowledge with wisdom in becoming the master you aspire to be. |
| |
| |
| Knowledge + Wisdom = Absolute Mastery |
Let it be reiterated that classical Feng Shui is a study of the Physiognomy of the Land. This only goes to say that within the micro-centric application of Feng Shui (such as in the assessment of properties), the natural environmental features always take precedence over the interior of any property assessed. Qi, after all, regulates amongst our external environment, before it gradually meanders into and permeates the interior of buildings. And one thing generally good about external environments is...they usually don't change! The mountains and rivers we see around our homes have been there for ages - and only manmade interference will alter their shapes or attributes.
As such, wouldn't it make more sense for us to first know the TYPES of water, mountains and overall landform formations we are dealing with, before we even attempt to tap into and harness the Qi flowing from these landforms into a building or vacant piece of land? Remember; classical Feng Shui studies how Qi flows from our surrounding environment into our residences or workplaces. We must, after all, first have the Qi potential available at our disposal - before we can actually tap into it! |
