Dragon Diaries 3 URBAN DRAGONS
Do we really have to go all the way to China to 'see' these Dragons? The Dragons in Kuala Lumpur might be a little obscure, judging from the houses and developments that are normally on it, or at least, around it. One time I was standing in front of a nice stretch of hills, suddenly unsure what to do next. The apartments surrounding the plot of land were distracting. Not a very tall Dragon this one, just about a few storey's high. Out of the blue I remembered something I heard from my earlier days from a certain Feng Shui Teacher: 'Don't focus on what you cannot see - use what you can see' And what I saw there and then was a stream. What next? 'The incoming dragon stops at water. And the water tells you the direction it is coming from'. Easy, right? Fortunately for us, nature follows the rules of Yin and Yang. Every protrusion in the land is followed by a dip. Every higher ground will be followed by lower land. Every mountain will follow water, and subsequently, every stream tells you the direction and type of mountain around. Same thing goes: What happens when you do not see any mountains? Look for the water. After all, most of the Qi will flow and gather around there eventually. So imagine this: Following the line of sight of the outgoing stream, you can see the left and right embraces of the land - the fabled 'Green Dragon' and 'White Tiger' respectively. You notice that hey - the Green Dragon is also shaped as a 'Huge Door' star, allowing to double as a wealth-creating Qi source. But then your sight reaches something odd - there is no 'Red Phoenix' (or Table Mountain) to lock-in the Qi of the entire area! And so we have a case of leaking Qi... Fortunately, this is not too hard to fix. All we need is a big solid physical structure, approximately 2 storey's high that can act as an extension of the left embrace to lock-in the Qi flow that goes with the stream. Well let's see what the client has to say about that. Would it be worth the trouble? Certainly - all the occupants within the vicinity of this Dragon lair will prosper immensely. And this being a Wood element Dragon means that good health and good name awaits the people who will stay in these houses. And since we have already identified the direction of the Incoming Dragon - let's see how we can position some of the houses to receive the 'Five Ghosts Carry Treasure'... Sherwin Ng MA Instructor
