As part of his extensive Australian tour early this month, Joey Yap held the Feng Shui Mastery Series (FSM) Module One at the Sheraton Perth Hotel on 3rd July 2006.
The FSM Module One was a rare event as it was one of the few Module One courses taught personally by Joey Yap and it had been specially organized for Australia. Many quickly grabbed this opportunity and registered themselves for this course, some even weeks in advance.
It was a full class and there were many new faces. Some of them attended Joey’s Feng Shui for Homebuyers Seminar at the same venue a day earlier. The students gathered early and took the opportunity to get to know their classmates better while waiting for the class to begin. Everybody was enthusiastic and looking forward to having the opportunity to study with Joey in person.
Joey began the course with a thorough introduction to Classical Feng Shui to ensure a solid fundamental, he reiterated that a proper grounding in the basics would carry them through the more advanced material as they grew in their knowledge of classical Feng Shui.
He then introduced them to the 8 Mansions school of Feng Shui and discussed the technicalities behind this theory and how to correctly apply it. He threw in a couple of real-life experiences from his own consultations over the years to make sure the students understood the application from a real-world perspective.
The second half of the day focused on Flying Star Feng Shui, a technique used extensively in the Xuan Kong system of Feng Shui. Although this part was slightly more technical and involved formulas, Joey kept the mood of the class jovial by sharing with his own personal research experience, anecdotes and numerous Xuan Kong case studies throughout his practice over the years. Some students had brought their own plans for comparison and were eager to immediately apply what they were learning.
By the end of the fruitful day, Joey's students had quite a few questions and he spent some time clarifying many of the points discussed in class. were full with questions. Joey took time to answer each and every one of them, citing various Feng Shui techniques and examples. The students gave positive feedbacks to the FSM Module One and many of them are anticipating another productive course with FSM Module Two.
