Joey Yap was invited by Alliance Kuching to speak on the outlook for 2009 from the perspective of Feng Shui and Astrology. Taking place between 6:30 and 10:30 PM on a Wednesday, March 11, the talk was held at the Riverside Majestic Hotel in Kuching, Sarawak.

Many were keen to receive an outlook for the year based on a different perspective. Joey's high-energy and humorous presentation style kept the audience enthralled.
