The Mastery Academy ushers in the New Year with a two-day epic event of weight, splendour, energy and vast entertainment value at the Swissotel Merchant Court , Singapore . The event is received with an overwhelming response that fills the ballroom to the brim.
Master Joey takes to the stage like a fish to the water. He is eloquent, expressive and humorous. A modern age Master, who delves into the classical roots of feng shui, shows the capacity filled crowd the true meaning of feng shui using logical and systematic analyses of the practice. Observing the last twenty years of feng shui practice, it is indeed time to change the mindset of the general public from an ornamental-sales driven practice into an environmental-concern practice. A clear understanding of the feng shui operatives holds the key to that transformation.
The seminar truly reflects the spirit of Period 8 Gen Gua in that the practice of classical feng shui has returned to her roots and the theorem is based on the fundamentals found in the classical texts. No hard sale technique seminar that promotes rocks and stones, accessories and ornaments that cures every corner of the house. Participants heave a sigh of relieve when Master Joey mentions that there is no need for any enhancers in classical feng shui.
Both the morning sessions took us back to the basic understanding of feng shui. Master Joey defined feng shui, debunking the many myths that feng shui was associated with, and good feng shui need not come in restaurant-style. He did not fail to deliver his list of initiatives that addresses the concerns of the wealth, romance and the academic structures for the coming year.
The seminar brought us into an in depth understanding of the importance of location and direction, the annual influence of the energy within the house and the characteristic of all the eight types of houses. With that, we learn that feng shui is subtle, rational and pragmatic. Obviously, common sense prevails.
The afternoon session explored further into the confirmation of the annual energy with the analysis of the current year's Bazi. The participants were taught a clear understanding of the five elements and how its energy can be read in the Bazi as well as in the face and behaviour.
The last session delved into the zodiac signs and how to match it with the person's face for confirmation. The seminar signed off with a date selection explanation. To start the New Year with a prosperous day is indeed one of the main concerns.
Throughout the seminar, Master Joey shared his invaluable understanding of face reading, with expression and descriptions that sent the participants laughing wholeheartedly. He literally brought the house down in every sense of the word.
Never have I heard a seminar that brought together the flying star chart, the Bazi chart and face-reading skill to assess the coming year's prosperity.
The pulse of the Academy is measured in the success of this seminar. Without a doubt, it has set the pace and direction for future developments.
