In conjunction with the newly established Professional Development Programme which was kick-started in May, a casual dinner was hosted between Dato' Joey Yap and the consultants and apprentices of Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics. The get-together, held at Alexis Bistro & Wine Bar at The Gardens, Kuala Lumpur on August 15, is a part of an ongoing effort to foster closer ties among apprentices of the programme as well as provide a casual platform for them to share their experiences.
The event, the first in many more to come, also served as a venue for the "students" to get closer to the "teacher" as they were given an opportunity to put forward any questions they have to Dato' Joey in a relaxed environment. Enthusiastic consultants and apprentices were equally eager to listen to the tips and knowledge concerning the tools of the trade which Dato' Joey generously shared with them.
Amidst the good wine and great food, there were no status and ranks that night as all formalities were left at the door. Even Dato' Joey himself was seen to let his hair down a bit as he cracked a joke or two with the participants. It can be pretty much summarised as a fun night out filled with good conversations and laughter. Judging from the response, the invitees are definitely looking forward to similar future gatherings.
Here are some of the snapshots taken during joyous moments in the dinner:
