Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre's Plenary Hall has once again become the regular venue for Joey Yap's Live Seminar here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This time, it was for the mid-year annual event entitled, Wealth & Destiny, with the theme 'Empowering Yourself for Success & Happiness'.
By 8.30am, participants began to trail in early for registration and had spent some time browsing at the product booths and getting their BaZi Chart readings by Mastery Academy consultants before the seminar commences at 10am.
Joey was upbeat as he took center stage to welcome the 2,500 participants in attendance. Feng Shui was the main topic of the day, where Joey explained its fundamentals and techniques, focusing on the how one can influence positive changes in the wealth, career and relationship aspects of their lives by tapping into positive Qi of their living environment. He stressed that Classical Feng Shui is not about object placement, a common misconception popularized by today's "New Age" Feng Shui.
He explained that even if one owns a house that is considered to have bad Feng Shui, it is possible for the owner to make the necessary Feng Shui adjustments in the house to harness positive Qi. During one session, Joey had randomly selected a participant in the audience for a free Feng Shui property consultation on stage. His demonstration drew a loud applause from everyone.
Other than reminding the participants about the Feng Shui Flying Stars and Annual Afflictions of the Year, he also shared useful applications on clearing out the negative elements of their home and workplace and how they can add in positive wealth-attracting elements to boost their financial growth.
In addition, he taught them about the Xuan Kong Nine Life Stars and identifying their personal Life Star or Life Gua number, which is derived from a person's Year of Birth. He explained that a person's Life Gua dictates his or her positive and negative Directions. These directions are determined using the Luo Shu, which utilizes the 8 Trigrams in ascertaining the many different situations and factors affecting a person. By knowing all this, a person can identify their best directions to increase their potential for success in life.
Joey also spent time to talk about BaZi (Chinese Astrology) and the importance of self-awareness as the key for making better decisions to affect positive changes in life with the help of BaZi Personality Profiling system. He also did an on-the-spot BaZi Chart reading for a member of the audience, which yet again, drew plenty of applause and laughter from the amazed participants.
In one session at the day-long seminar, Joey's student and author Tee Lin Say was invited on-stage to talk about Face Reading (Mian Xiang) and the benefits of learning this skill, while introducing her first book, the newly released title, Faces of Fortune. Mastery Academy instructor and consultant, Sherwin Ng, also went on-stage to present his new Feng Shui book, Your Head Here. At the same time, he shared some tips on activating the Peach Blossom Luck according to the Bed Direction.
Towards the end of the seminar, Joey returned to the stage to teach the participants a few extra Face Reading tips they can apply immediately. This session truly brought plenty of laughter from the participants as they attempt to read each other's faces.
Wealth & Destiny seminar in Kuala Lumpur was a huge success as evident with the response from the participants. Many books, especially the new releases, were sold off. Participants also had a chance to meet with Joey up-close during the book-signing session at the end of the seminar.
A majority of the participants were already excited about the upcoming Annual Feng Shui & Astrology for 2012 seminars in Kuala Lumpur next January, grabbing the Early Bird tickets immediately.
