RAVE REVIEWS

Thank you Joey for another excellent class. I feel that this was the most sophisticated one of all doing such deep research. I thought to know already a sit about Feng Shui , but now I realize that it was much deeper. I always wonder what is the Purple White Script, so now I got the answer to it although I feel that I need to study further. Looking forward to seeing you in China.

Better Bedrooms
Source : Creative Home
Date : 1 Jun 2015
by Dato Joey Yap

Your bedroom is arguably the most important room in your house because it is where you go to rest and rejuvenate your mind and body. A bedroom not only acts as your personal sanctuary but also provides a tranquil and relaxed setting that you go to feel safe and comfortable every night. That is why your bedroom should not have too much Yang energy as Yang energy is typically associated with activity and achievements.

When a room is considered to have too many Yang, it means that there is too much Qi flowing through and this has created what results in an imbalance with both the Yin and Yang. When that happens, the bedroom is said to have bad Feng Shui. Thus, to avoid having dreaded bad Feng Shui in your bedroom, here are some tips that you should pay attention to when planning your bedroom.

First off, as much as possible, place your bed against a solid wall with the headboard aligned to your favourable position. When your bed is facing your favourable position or at least is in a favourable location in your room. This way you are well placed to receive the positive Qi while having a good night’s rest. A word of advice though – do not place your bed between two doors as that will create a continuously flow of Qi flow and will result in bad Feng Shui for you.

Secondly, your bed should be placed in a way that it is not fully exposed or revealed when someone walks into the room. By blocking – either fully or partially, the bed from the bedroom door entrance, the person using the bed and the bed will be properly protected. Also, your bed should not be placed under a protruding ceiling beam as it can disrupt the Yin quality of the bed and also your rest.

You should also pay attention to the shape of your bedroom. It is best if the basic shape of your room is square or rectangular. A square-shaped room represents the Earth element of stability and thus, is most suitable for activities like sleeping and working. As best as possible, you should avoid rooms that are round, triangular or oddly-shaped as these rooms do not have a balance Qi and could cause afflictions and problems when aggravated further by negative stars in the future.

Fortunately, your bed design and the colour of your blanket and pillow, have no bearing on your Feng Shui. It is the position and location that matters. If you love four poster beds, then sleep in one! As long as the layout of your bedroom is organized in a positive way that there is a good balance between the Yin and Yang energy and your bed is placed to capture the optimum good Qi in that sector, then you can look forward to enjoying plenty of restful sleep in your room. Sweet dreams!
