4 Components Of A Good Home

Owning a home today is considered a big step for most of us. Not only is it a long-term investment, it is also a sign that we may have dreams of starting our own family someday. Joey Yap talks about what makes a good home from a feng shui perspective.

Aside from deciding on the location and design of how one's future home should look like, one should also consider how Feng Shui can also help play its part in making or breaking the sale of a home. Few people are unaware that having good Feng Shui for a home not only attracts beneficial energy from the surrounding environment but it can also nourish and imbue its occupants with positive energy that will enhance its lives and lifestyle for the better. Here are four components that one must look for in order to usher in good Qi energy into a new house.

1: NATURAL WATER

Should you find a house that is surrounded or facing a large and natural body of water or formation, consider yourself very lucky if you are the proud owner of said house. Not only does Natural Water features allows for a smooth flow of positive Qi energy but this will generate a constant rush of peaceful and calm emotions for anyone residing in this house. Therefore, should you wish to partake in this natural benefit, purchase a house that sits in the Southwest or North position as this house has the potential to increase its value in just two years.

2: ANNUAL FLYING STARS

The second component is the Annual Flying Stars. As each New Year brings a different set of Stars in varying positions, residents who are adept in identifying the location and function of these Stars should be able to deduce the potential fortunate benefits and setbacks that are predicted to occur in each sector of the property.

3: BRIGHT HALL

The Bright Hall refers to the space directly in front of the house. Quite literally, this is the front door of the property and it is an important component in allowing Qi to be collected and circulated throughout the house. It is crucial that this area remain spacious and clutter free because an effective Bright Hall can mean an increase in property value for the property too.

4: MAIN DOOR

For any house to have ample Qi throughout the year, the Main Door is the primary focus and entrance in which all ambient Qi energy will flow in through from the outside. Therefore, it is extremely important that the Main Door is not negated or blocked by any forms in any way or shape. Residents should learn to create a loving environment in order to welcome a favourable Main Door to the home.

The environment we live in is what nurtures and helps us grow. That is why we need to create a balanced and strong Feng Shui foundation in our house in order to harness this life-giving energy. Knowing how Feng Shui can help will empower you to build a better home that will be welcoming to you day and night, all year long.
