RAVE REVIEWS

Thanks for teaching and showing us what real Feng Shui is all about. For those who cannot read Chinese Feng Shui Classics, it’s a fantastic course. You gave us the maximum knowledge in a minimum time frame.

Thank you for imparting this valuable knowledge to us. We sincerely appreciate your hard work and effort. How far we can go depends on our own efforts from here onwards.

Joey….. Welcome to Melbourne, the garden city of Australia.

Joey Yap was in Melbourne from 20 - 25 July. This is the first time he conducted classes in Melbourne.

Everyone knows how passionate Joey is when it comes to Feng Shui. On his 2nd day in Melbourne, Joey braved the winter morning chill and embarked on a field inspection of the wealthy eastern suburbs of Donvale, Doncaster and Templestowe. Here we observed mountain structures, the positioning of left/right embrace and table mountain. We observed these suburbs are inside a huge "spiral city" which receives Qi from the "Huge Door" mountain - no wonder these residents are prosperous!

Next, we visited a few housing estates near the famous Dandenong Ranges. Joey's keen eyes immediately determined that the mountain is still "moving" (in Feng Shui terminology), therefore no veins and Qi spots had yet been formed. Consequently, housing estates within the vicinity are average in wealth in spite of Mount Dandenong being a "Huge Door" mountain star.

It was such a fantastic tour; it was like the China expedition in a different setting! Though there are no emperor producing "Chastity" formations, the mountain structures of Melbourne, which seemed bland and monotonous, were painted in a completely different light with Joey's articulate description of them in Feng Shui terms. His observations had propelled me to a new level of learning, clarity and understanding of Luan Tou.

We began the formal learning with a 2-hour Face Reading Seminar. There was a large diversity amongst the audiences, such as Feng Shui practitioners from other schools, current and future students of Mastery Academy, a list of distinguished guests with varied background, from television producer and presenters, magazine editors to owners of health food chain, fitness centres, the president of a Naturopathy network and other like-minded professionals. They were enthralled with the Face Reading techniques and swamped Joey at the end of the seminar.

Feng Shui Mastery Series Module 3 was next on the agenda. There were participants from Australia, New Zealand and as far as Japan. In the 3 intensive days, they learned to recognize various landforms, studied different mountain and water formulas, its ancient origin and modern day applications. At the end of the course, the participants acquired a new level of understanding of external land forms and a different mindset to using "big picture" Macro Feng Shui. When we individually consolidate the FSM3 information together with what we learned in the FSM2 course, we have a set of formidable tools that can be effectively employed in our practice. The challenge from hereon, is to push the boundaries and expand beyond the common practice of micro internal Feng Shui.

Having summed up our classroom experience, here is an interesting by-product from a social evening. We had a group dinner in a nearby restaurant. (Of course, Joey was bombarded with land form questions which he graciously answered.) The food was very good but the décor was nothing spectacular. However, this restaurant has always enjoyed roaring business. After dinner, Joey gave a practical Feng Shui lesson outside the restaurant. Standing in windy, freezing temperature of 6 degrees with a light evening drizzle making it chillier, everyone was all ears, and all eyes followed every movement of Joey's finger. We hung on to every word to ensure we didn't miss the explanation when Joey pointed to the direction of incoming dragon (the steep road), the position of table mountain (the fence across the road), location of qi mouth and how the restaurant tapped the Qi. That was a superb use of mountain formula in an urban environment. What an eye opening experience!

So, there are excellent reasons to look forward to the Xuan Kong course in Melbourne.

“Joey is exceptionally talented. (I) enjoyed the course very much. Concise and loaded (with information). Very worth while. Thanks Joey.” –Wong Weng Yin

"I thought Module 3 was very well structured and taught brilliantly (if I didn't think it was fast enough then the Summary really made up for it). I appreciated the Summary, definitions and history - so much to learn in such a short time - brilliant." – Amanda Woods

"Thank you, this is what I always thought feng shui was about, and finally I have been taught. Excellent course, very comprehensive, well-structured and clearly explained." – Katrina Heding

"It must be my good "Karma" to have the opportunity to share your knowledge. Thank you, for studying understanding this amazing subject and in time simplifying it and generously sharing it with us. Will always be grateful and my best wishes and sincere prayers for you." – Vidya Muthana

"Thank you for your great course. It is worth (the trip) - all the way from Tokyo. I really enjoyed it. Hope I can meet with you soon and I can possibly set up a branch of your institution in Japan one day. See you soon!" – Hisashi Nagash
