Although the seminar was only due to start at 10am, many started arriving at the Perth Convention Center in Australia as early as 8 a.m. They wanted to get the good seats in front and they knew that these were always snapped up early. And as was the case in Sydney, the Mastery Academy team quickly needed to get in more chairs to cope with the additional audience that swelled the attendees ranks.
It was truly heartening to see a significant majority of the audience consisting of those who had also attended Joey’s Secrets of Face Reading seminar in Perth, last year. Having established a rapport with Perth residents (although quite a significant minority of participants came from other parts of Australia), it was therefore unsurprising to hear the voluminous applause that resonated across the auditorium as Joey waved to his audience while taking the stage to begin his seminar.
Keeping faithfully to his itinerary of contents, Joey started by addressing the common issues of Relationships, Health, Career and Wealth for 2007. Without skipping a beat, he then plunged into greater detail by narrating the Annual Flying Stars chart for the Year of the Fire Boar. A lively discourse on positive and negative sectors followed suit, peppered with Face Reading (Mian Xiang) tips that had the audience both engaged and in stitches!
The breaks were well utilized by members of the floor, who took the opportunity to acquaint themselves with Australia-based Mastery Academy team. Friendly banter and salutations were exchanged, as well as contact details. Inquiries about the Mastery Academy’s books and courses abounded…it was truly good to see interest in classical Chinese Metaphysics well, alive and thriving Down Under.
As expected, everyone wanted to know what awaits his or her Zodiac Animal in the Year of the Fire Boar. And Joey didn’t disappoint, as he went through the details pertaining to each and every Animal – dispensing some critical advice now and then. He also gently reminded his listeners that knowledge of Chinese Metaphysics is meant to allow us to make informed decisions in life – and make life better in the process.
The applause that followed Joey’s trail in leaving the stage at the end of the day was certainly more than polite – it was the applause that usually goes to say: Well done, great to see you again…and we WILL see you again!
