During the weekend leading up to the Chinese New Year celebrations, there was no break in momentum for Joey Yap as he made a visit to Singapore for the Feng Shui Module 1 and BaZi Module 1 courses. Both the talks were held at the Raffles City Convention Center.
Students started pouring in as early as 9am, some were looking to register quickly and get a good seat in class, others were quite eager to speak to Joey Yap before the class commenced.
The class commenced with the usual introduction to the fundamentals of Feng Shui; the necessary basics to ensure a solid understanding of the essence of classical Feng Shui. Many of the students had read a little bit about Feng Shui but were quite delighted to learn the crux of classical Feng Shui and learn how to apply it effectively.
Naturally many stayed back after the class to clarify any doubts they may have had and to speak to Joey Yap on matters relating to their own home or office.
The next day, the 22nd of January, was the BaZi Module 1 class. BaZi is a traditional Chinese science of analyzing a person’s destiny. It enables us to study the potential and mysteries of our lives just by using our date of birth. The real skill in BaZi comes not from being able to plot the BaZi chart but from the analysis of this chart – this was exactly what Joey Yap focused on during his class. How to go about analyzing the chart and focusing on the various factors in a chart that would influence the analysis. The students who had previously read up on BaZi were quite impressed by just how much information they could gleam out of the charts they were looking at simply by applying Joey Yap’s methods, it was a whole new world of knowledge to them.
