October 15, 2012
The return of the popular Yi Jing Mastery Program was greeted with much excitement as it was held in London, United Kingdom - the first time outside Malaysia and Singapore. The three-day intensive program was hosted at the Asia House in New Cavendish Street from October 15, 2012 onwards. The program was fully conducted by Joey Yap and attended by many who shared the common goal of obtaining clearer insights into the Chinese study of divination and its modern applications.
The course began with a brief introduction of the traditional method of interpreting the Yi - a school of philosophy which touches on Gua image, Gua text and Yao text. Participants were able to apply the correct approach to decipher these Gua, without the need to refer to its original text, as further discussions provided a layer of deeper understanding for these trigrams.
Participants who were looking into incorporating the methodology of Yi Jing in their financial issues were delighted as a discussion of this subject was carried out with the related external components, proactive approach and management issues being evaluated. Better known as the Eight Trigrams model used for calculating and facilitating analyses in Feng Shui, the Ba Gua - and its impacts on work performance, people and relationship aspects were explained before the course ended with an interactive practice session of what was learnt earlier.
