With the success and demand for Joey Yap's two-hour-long Mian Xiang or Face Reading workshops since last May, it returned yet again with The Look of Love held at The Boulevard Hotel, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.
On the evening of August 18, many of the attendees - including those new and curious about the art of Face Reading - had braved through the long traffic jam of this bustling business and commercial area, just to learn some techniques from Joey in person.
Joey first explained that Face Reading can help deduce the personality of a person and the way he or she connects in a relationship. However, it doesn't help them to identify their soulmate, though it can determine whether a person has a good or bad affinity to them according to his or her facial features.
A good relationship is, in its core, all about people connection. This is where Face Reading can be used as a tool to measure if a person can connect well with you or otherwise, as there is tell-tale signs on the face that reveals it all.
Joey urged the participants to practice Face Reading more, as it will help them to learn and remember better. The aim of this workshop was to bring awareness to people by identifying the existence of a problem first, and understand its cause before one can proceed to fix it from its source. Joey stressed that to evoke change in a relationship, it is easier to change yourself first before attempting to change the other. Only then, you can influence the other to change.
For effective relationship analysis, he demonstrated how Face Reading can be done in two ways: Fixed Position Reading, which deciphers information based on one point or feature on the face, and Multiple Positions Reading, which is a combined reading based on several points.
He also spoke on complementing Face Reading techniques with the Feng Shui Life Gua Number method to enhance the chances of early health prevention and maintaining general good health.
The participants had plenty of fun during the workshop, thanks to its interactive approach, as everyone had the opportunity to practice face reading with each other.
