January 22, 2011
It was that time of the year again, when Joey Yap's annual Feng Shui & Astrology for 2011 seminar returns to Kuala Lumpur. Starting off the event over the weekend was the Cantonese seminar on January 22. This was the second Feng Shui & Astrology seminar conducted in Cantonese after the success of last year's event.
Though registration was scheduled to begin at 8.30am, the crowd had already formed a queue by 8am, with enough time to browse for books and other products at the booths before taking their seats in the Plenary Hall at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Like last year's seminar, sharing the stage with Joey Yap once again was co-host, Wong Chui Ling, popular TV and radio host. The two has made the seminar a truly entertaining one, which had the audience laughing over their banter the moment they stepped on-stage. There was never a dull moment throughout the entire seminar, which began at 10am to 5pm (with breaks at three intervals as well).
Joey dived straight into his insights for 2011, the Year of the Metal Rabbit, explaining on how the economy will turn out this year and how well various industries will fare. He also shared the forecast for 2011 based on each Animal Sign.
Drawing much interest and amusement from all was the Face Reading session. Joey demonstrated some intriguing reason how particular parts of the year are able to affect certain parts of a person's face depending on their Astrology sign. The audience had fun accessing the face of the person sitting beside them.
As the theme for this year's seminar is "Empowering Your Destiny", Joey also taught the audience some basic BaZi (Astrology) and Date Selection, useful applications to give them an edge to face the rest of the year. During the BaZi session, he shared the year's outlook that incorporates individual Day Masters, and easy BaZi methods that the audience can put to use immediately.
Joey also revealed the Feng Shui Annual Afflictions for the year, what people should watch out for, and remedies to 'cure' or at least minimize the negative effects of those inauspicious sectors. This had everyone listening intently to his tips and applications.
During each break at the day-long seminar, the attendees took the opportunity to grab some books and products to help them practice what they had learnt that day. There are also plenty of encouraging response from the attendees on the courses and consultations offered on the day.
By the end of the event, it was clear that all attendees had a great time and were excited to put what they've learnt to use with the hope of empowering their lives in 2011. Another Cantonese seminar ended with success; and in less than 24 hours, the next seminar in English will welcome a new crowd at the Plenary Hall.
