It was a record-breaking day. This event was likely the largest turnout for a seminar at Intel Malaysia, Penang to-date. The crowd was so large (more than 800 attendees!) that there was not enough room in the PG 12 Auditorium, and part of them had to be seated outside to watch the presentation via live feed.
So why was everyone a-buzz at 10am on a Monday morning of January 17?
The day's presentation was none other than a two-hour session of Joey Yap's Feng Shui & Astrology for 2011 seminar for Intel Penang. Joey received a very warm welcome from the crowd, who was equally excited about the event and are eager to learn from Joey about the outlook for 2011.
Joey jumped right into the overview for 2011, the Year of the Metal Rabbit, in terms of economy and Feng Shui. He touched upon how the favorable industries - ie. FMCG, technology, service, educational, gaming - would fare in the New Year and a run through of the Feng Shui Flying Stars for 2011.
What really drew the crowd's interest that day was the subject of BaZi or Chinese Astrology. When it comes to Personality Profiling, everyone perked their ears to listen closely to Joey's teachings, guiding them on how BaZi works and how easy it is to read a BaZi chart. He also shared the BaZi outlook for 2011, incorporating individual Day Masters.
By the end of the event, many participants were so inspired by Joey's insights and forecast that his books - also on sale there - were flying off the shelves. They wanted to read more about what he had taught, particularly BaZi. Some were even a little disappointed when Joey's latest book, The Ten Gods, released in Singapore the day before, was unavailable then (It was sold out within hours after its release!).
