November 27, 2010
Joey Yap's annual Feng Shui & Astrology for 2011 kicked off to a great start in wintery Frankfurt, Germany - marking the first stop of the nine-city world tour.
On the Saturday of November 27, participants of the seminar in Frankfurt huddled in away from the cold at Frankfurt Marriot Hotel to spend a day with Joey as he reveals his insights and outlook for 2011, the Year of the Metal Rabbit.
Mastery Academy's very own Germany-based instructor, Birgit X. Fischer, was on hand to translate Joey's teachings throughout the seminar. Needless to say, the seminar - with the theme "Empowering Your Destiny" or in German, "Ermächtigen Sie Ihr Schicksal" - went on without a hitch as everything flowed smoothly and everyone had a great time learning from Joey.
Joey wasted no time with the seminar, presenting an introductory overview of the Feng Shui and BaZi (Astrology) forecast for the year ahead. He outlined the industry outlook from both the economic and Feng Shui standpoint.
Clearly a favorite topic at all Joey's annual seminars, the BaZi outlook - which typically goes beyond the Twelve Animal Signs for a more detailed outlook incorporating individual Day Masters - for the year definitely had all participants eager to know about themselves and apply what they have learnt to their own lives.
Bringing in plenty of laughter, as well as eye-opening (pun unintended) insights, was the Face Reading or Mian Xiang segment, where Joey demonstrates the intriguing reason how certain parts of the year are able to affect certain parts of a person's face depending on their Astrology sign. Those parts of the face correspond to different aspects of life as observed in Face Reading. Participants were excited to learn their forecast for 2011 based on this method.
Joey also shared Feng Shui principles and techniques to help activate auspicious stars throughout the year and avoid the annual afflictions. He also explained to the audience the requirements in the practice of Date Selection and how Good and Bad Dates can make or break many important activities and endeavors in life.
Much was indeed learnt during the Frankfurt seminar. Even at the end of it, participants were looking for opportunities to ask Joey more questions, which he was delighted to entertain and share.
With the one-day Frankfurt seminar successfully done, it was "Auf wiedersehen, Deutschland!" Next stop: London, England.
