The pre-event ticket registration excitement

They came... by the thousands to the Plenary Hall in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. They watched... all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010. And they were convinced... that Joey's Feng Shui & Astrology Seminar for 2010 with the theme 'Succeeding in Turbulent Times' held the key answers to their fervent wish for a great year ahead.
Super early birds started buying their tickets for the seminar as soon as they were available for sale. And super early birds showed up to register on the day of the seminar long before 8.30 a.m. Such was the keenness of participants in this highly anticipated annual event. Long after the first session had commenced for the day, last-minute participants continued to drift in at the venue.
Joey warmed up the participants with an overview of the year 2010 based on the five elements industry outlook. He then gave further insight into the annual forecast from the Feng Shui perspective.
Joey shared enthusiastically with the members of the audience expert tips on what they can do to activate the auspicious Stars residing in the favourable sectors of their home or office. That way they can maximise the benefits in various aspects of their lives. At the same time, he also advised them on how to mitigate the negative influences of the Feng Shui Afflictions for 2010.
No BaZi session is ever complete without Joey first demonstrating to the participants how to plot their own BaZi charts. While informing the participants about how each of the 12 Animal Signs (Chinese Astrology) would fare for 2010, he reinforced his explanations with techniques on Face Reading. His unique approach is intended to help the participants fulfill their own potential with the aid of positive Stars as well as navigate their way around the presence of inauspicious Stars during the year.
The impact of all this new knowledge gained by the participants was almost instantaneous! This was evident especially during the breaks between the different sessions. The moment one session ended, the participants would make a frantic dash to the booths which were set up to ask about the various products and services related to that particular session. And even while the seminar was still in mid-session, participants were already snapping up tickets for the BaZi Wealth Profile seminar to be held in this coming July!
For the final session, Joey spoke on Date Selection, which was greatly welcomed by many participants. Some wanted to know the good dates for resuming business or work after Chinese New Year; others had specific occasions in mind but have yet to learn how to use the Tong Shu and the Ten Thousand Year Calendar.
The seminar ended with Joey answering questions which he invited from the participants. So eager were some participants that they posed him with more than one question each!
The seminar was also attended by various media representatives. They got to interview Joey at a short press conference which was conducted during the first break of the seminar.

A book-signing session was held right after the seminar. It was simply amazing to notice how the participants waited patiently in a long line to have their new purchases autographed by Joey. Some were seen lugging several books! The rare opportunity to meet their favourite speaker in person and even have their pictures taken with him is not one they would want to pass up!
With books and tools in hand, the participants were all well equipped to put to immediate use their new knowledge in making 2010 their best year yet.
