The Fa Ling

According to the classical face reading texts, Fa Ling (laughter lines) which extend from the nose down the sides of the mouth to the chin, should not become noticeable until the age of 45. If someone has pronounced or obvious Fa Ling prior to this age, it is an indication of a hard life or a person whose nose is always to the grindstone. The Chin and Jaws
|
|
|
The center of the chin represents the age luck position for the age of 70. This is the same for both men and women. This position represents old age and what we want is for this position to be fleshy, smooth and not wrinkly. At the same time, we need to check that the person has lively and alert eyes, showing good eye spirit, and the voice is not frail or wispy. A wrinkly chin, and a wispy weak voice, indicates health challenges at 70 for the person.
